Shoplifter arrested in shop near Kings Road

A shop owner near the Kings Road took our crime prevention advice.

They were asked to call 999 quietly if the known shoplifter entered and not to engage. The suspect had taken high value items on numerous previous occasions.

Police attended and the suspect was arrested for theft, and for the previous thefts he had committed on the premises. The suspect's day got worse when he was searched and found to have suspected Class A drugs on him.
